Suggested Nanny Pay Ranges
The ranges below reflect typical childcare rates within the Delaware area and are provided as a general guide for families. Because every role is unique, nannies set and negotiate their own rates based on their experience, skill set, and job expectations.
General Childcare (Delaware-Aligned)
Essential Childcare— $18–$22/hr
Enhanced Childcare— $22–$28/hr
Premium Childcare — $28–$35/hr
Newborn Care (Delaware-Aligned)
Essential Newborn Care— $20–$26/hr
Enhanced Newborn Care— $24–$30/hr
Premium Newborn Care Specialist — $28–$40/hr
